ABSTRACT :

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of using online banking on the bank performance of Indonesian banks. The three objectives of this study were to determine the impact of the internet, mobile banking, and automated teller machines on the bank performance measured by return on assets of listed commercial banks in Indonesia.

The study used a quantitative research design and panel data analysis to conduct the research. Sample used in this research are banking industries listed in Indonesia Stock
Exchange in 2016-2020 using purposive sampling method and obtained 36 companies. This research used secondary data of annual report or financial statement obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) or company website in 2016-2020 period.

Data were analyzed using multiple regression method. The analysis technique used is Eviews 9.0 statistical program. The result of this research are internet banking has a negative significant effect to bank performance and both mobile banking and automated teller machines have a positive significantly effect to bank performance. In addition, internet banking, mobile banking, and automated teller machines simultaneously has a significant effect to bank performance.
