Abstract
This study aims to test empirically whether the awareness of taxpayers and the service of tax officers has an effect on individual taxpayer compliance with KPP Pratama in the East Jakarta Region.

This research used primary data. The samples in this research KPP Pratama in East Jakarta Region. Data in this research was obtained through purposive sampling method. There are 6 KPP Pratama in the East Jakarta Region that used as samples. This research used quantitative method where data was obtained through survey method by questionnaires. The research variables used are awereness of taxpayers and service of tax office. This research used multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21.0 for windows as the analysis method.

The results of this study are taxpayer awareness has a significant positive effect on individual taxpayer compliance at the East Jakarta Pratama Tax Service Office. Taxpayer compliance is proven to have a significant positive effect on individual taxpayer compliance at the East Jakarta Pratama Tax Service Office.

Taxpayer awareness and taxpayer compliance are proven to have an effect on individual taxpayer compliance at the East Jakarta Pratama Tax Service Office.
