Performance appraisal in practice
Performance appraisal is a key element and central component of most performance management system. The success of a business organization on human resource management depends on the use performance appraisal to promote a higher quality of human capital which will in turn provide higher productivity to the organization. There are various methods of performance appraisal available in any organization. The group did case study of different methods of performance appraisal currently in private and public sector in Brunei. A comparison is made on the effectiveness, advantages and limitation of performance appraisal in the public sector, the head of word and villages and multinational pharmaceutical company.
